Industrial Training for Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students at graduate level

Industrial Training provided by Siemens Ltd at Institution on the Industry-Insititution Interaction Platform of ELIM Virtual University.

Eligibility: 

1. Fresh Engineering Graduates (EEE/EIE) passing out in June 2014 from Engineering Colleges/Universities with AICTE/UGC approval.

2. Students pursuing B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering presently in final year and expecting to complete their degree in June 2015.


We are glad to announce that Siemens Ltd provides trainings for colleges/universities

We will train students by giving complete hands on practice on kits (PLC, DRIVES, HMI, Sensors & Transducers, Switchgear)
This helps them to enhance their knowledge in core fields & fill up the gaps between theoretical & practical knowledge by providing rich experiential learning at their Institutes
& most importantly, they will get Siemens Certificate which carries high value in market.

The details of courses offered are mentioned below: (duration of each course is 5 days):
1. Basic PLC
2. Basic SCADA
3. Process Instrumentation
4. Basic AC/DC Drives
5. LV Switchgear
6. Basic Mechatronics
7. Mechatronics Level-1

Courses (6) and (7) are offered for students with Mechatronics specialization.

Institutes can avail a bulk discount in fees if the number of participating students is 50 or more.

Important Note: All Final year students undergoing training from Siemens will be given additional credits for assessment and compilation of training report. Further, it is mandatory that assignments shall be given based on the outcomes of these training courses.
